Afoggy Kyiv night can’t dim the shine of one of Kyiv’s most beloved buildings, St Sophia’s Cathedral. Built in 1037, it was the first of Kyiv’s landmarks to be added to the World Heritage List. We took this picture just before curfew, heading back home after a well-deserved massage – we had just spent three days travelling to Poland on the train to pick up our car.
